FAIRY LORE & LANDSCAPES PROJECT
The Fairy Lore & Landscapes Project is my comparative ethnographic research project. The project comprises an exhibition, an ethnographic documentary, and a comparative study in the form of a book, and an interactive database will be launched in the future. The project is housed in the Marginalised and Endangered Worldviews Study Centre at University College Cork. Different stages of the project have been funded by the Royal Irish Academy, the Ireland-Canada University Foundation, the Newfoundland-Ireland Partnership (Department of the Taoiseach), and by University College Cork’s College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences Research Support Fund.
The exhibition runs from April until mid-June 2019 in University College Cork’s Boole Library Exhibition Space on the ground floor. It is free and open to the public.
